The President, Chairman and Members of Shrivenham Bowls club offer you a warm welcome. 

The Club was founded as a mixed Bowling Club in 1968 and moved to the present green in 1972.

The Club is run voluntarily with all the functions controlled by an elected Management Committee.

We are affiliated to: 

  • Royal County of Berkshire Bowling Association 

  • Berkshire County Women's Bowling Association

  • Swindon & District Bowling Association

  • Swindon & District Women's Bowling Association

The Club also accommodates a limited number of short mat members.

Please call in and see us when the club is open.  If the club is not open, please call one of the contacts below to find out a suitable time.

Visitors will be especially welcome to come and watch some bowling on days detailed in Special Events.

 Berkshire Women's Fours Champions 2007.

Congratulations to our Champion Ladies:

Marilyn Forty, Eve Millidge, Esme Haste and Mandy Forty.

This is the first time any ladies from the Shrivenham club have won this county title.  They beat Woodley 25-16 in semi-finals and Caversham 20-14 in the final. The team now compete in the national championships at Leamington - first game on Sunday against Somerset. For three of the team - Mandy Forty, Marilyn Forty and Esme Haste it will be their Leamington debuts. But for Eve Millidge it will be her third appearance at Leamington having competed there previously in Triples and Champion of Champions.
